Commercial Truck Mechanic


  • Be part of an energetic team, creating gourmet products served to thousands of passengers daily, on the World’s best International Airlines
  • Troubleshooting and completing repairs on diesel engines and sub-assemblies
  • Quickly and accurately diagnose and repair Engine, Transmission, ABS, and Electrical issues on medium commercial trucks
  • Working knowledge and experience of commercial trucks /diesel engines, clutch, transmissions, lift gates, electrical work, and mechanical work
  • Provide basic and preventative maintenance, systems diagnostics and repair for medium duty commercial diesel Trucks
  • Experience and knowledge working on Hino, Kenworth, Ford and International trucks a plus
  • Commercial trucks refrigeration experience with additional knowledge on the carrier and thermos king units repairs and maintenance
  • Ability to Diagnose and carry out repairs of defects on the fleet vehicles reported on a daily basis
  • Communicate with dispatch and managers to make trucks in need of repair available as well as to place them back in service in a timely manner
  • Report to managers on a daily basis completed and status of tasks assigned
  • Perform preventative maintenance, including oil & filter changes, greasing, tire rotations, visual inspections, etc., on trucks and cars as needed
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records on all maintenance, repairs, and inspections performed to be in compliance with all regulations and company stipulations
  • Work together with managers on parts ordering and inventorying to ensure both costs and vehicle down time are kept to a minimum
  • Carry out any other fleet-related requests needed by management


  • Commercial Driver’s License – Class A or B
  • Working experience in commercial truck mechanics and vehicle repair
  • Familiarity with hydraulic systems, including diagnosing and repairing them
  • Ability to multi-task, work well in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work with individuals in different functions
  • Passion for working within an international team
  • Hands-on approach, self-driven and dedicated personality
  • Flexibility to work shifts as scheduled inclusive of weekends and holidays as needed and ability to be “on-call”
  • Experience with Hino commercial trucks A PLUS!
