We are currently looking for a

Jr. Costing Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Be part of an energetic team, creating gourmet products served to thousands of passengers daily, on the premium International Airlines
  • Calculating food cost for prestigious airline customer, generating and updating costing & pricing calculation files.
  • Data Entry from source documents into prescribed computer database, files and forms
  • Responsible for all activities involving menu presentations to new and current airline customers
  • Liaise with chefs and purchasing department to gather menu details, recipes and specifications on raw materials
  • Planning, monitoring and analysis of food & beverages use
  • Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities
  • Supports costing & pricing with data entry in Microsoft Navision for new and current products
  • Performs ERP and related business system data entry as required to support operations and production
  • Supports head of department and Costing Supervisor with other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Knowledge of culinary arts highly desired; strong interest in the Food Service Industry a plus
  • Strong Systems aptitude, including, but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint and ERP systems (Microsoft Navision preferred)
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Experience working with product bill of materials, data entry, technical specifications, and ERP data management systems for foodservice/food distribution/food importer preferred
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced environment and meet strict deadlines
  • Ability and desire to learn and excel within a growing, entrepreneurial organization.
  • The ability to effectively work with all levels of staff and management
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
