Recruiter – Specializing in Culinary Positions

Responsibilities

  • Be part of an energetic team, creating gourmet products served to thousands of passengers daily, on the World’s best International Airlines
  • Attract, source and screen candidates using a variety of innovative cost-effective techniques including social networking and direct sourcing.
  • Responsible for mastering the use of recruiting tools and technologies to remain competitive in attracting talent
  • Gather and assess feedback on candidates and partner with department managers to evaluate and assess candidates.
  • Screen candidates over the phone and in person and refer qualified candidates to hiring manager
  • Provide regular updates to management regarding pipeline development and progress of candidates
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and new hire orientation
  • Represent the company at various events and careers fairs
  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as with company policies, practices, and guidelines.
  • Update recruiting database, as needed
  • Creating different reports for management
  • Special projects (like employee events, reward/incentive programs, etc)

Qualifications

  • College degree
  • 3 + years recruiting experience for exempt and non-exempt culinary positions
  • Familiarity with federal, state and local employment laws
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Working knowledge of online recruiting software or other well- known recruiting software
  • Full Cycle Talent Acquisition and Onboarding experience
  • Work experience within an environment of 500+ employees in a high end sector industry (hospitality, service or manufacturing industry preferred)
  • Passion for working within an international team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally, with people in different functions and levels
  • Bilingual/ second language is beneficial
