Flight Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Be part of a team coordinating the preparation of high-end meals and help deliver them to our Airline Clients at LAX, so they can be served to hundreds of international airline guests daily!
  • Be the face of our company and represent our high-end products by liaising closely with our international Airline Clients
  • Supervise and motivate a small team of Food Packers/Flight Checkers to ensure meals are packed and ready according to deadlines; support with packing if needed
  • Ensure the correct meals and correct amounts are ready for each flight, crosscheck and seal outgoing flight trolleys, ensure delivery is punctual, and handover of meals to the aircraft crew is according to the clients’ requirements in a customer service oriented and efficient way
  • Identify problematic areas within the procedure, inform supervisor and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure all hygiene, quality and food safety standards are met
  • Assist with inventory taking and ensure deadlines are met
  • Document and deliver relevant information per flight to respective departments so correct invoicing of all articles can take place
  • Write end of shift report
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve as needed in a customer service oriented way

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of work experience in a customer service position
  • Meet requirements necessary to obtain an Airport ID at LAX Airport
  • Excellent organizational, planning and coordination skills
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills
  • Outgoing personality and hands-on approach
  • Team player and excellent leadership skills
  • Attention to Detail
  • Passion for Hospitality or Customer Service professions
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced environment
  • Flexibility: different shifts available (working on weekends + holidays may be needed)
  • Driver’s License
